March 2025 - That’s a Wrap!
The Heart for Heroes Gala
We were delighted to have such an amazing turnout for our 3rd annual Heart for Heroes Gala. Those of you who were at the Gala know just how impactful the panel discussion was that evening. It provided a window into the support we provide to our first responders and the communities they serve.
We are so grateful for the panelists who shared their hearts, and to each of you who attended and helped us honor and celebrate our first responders and the mission of Salt & Light Partners. The evening was a great success and we are overwhelmed by the generosity of the community! Thank you!
SAVE THE DATE FOR NEXT YEAR:
MARCH 13th, 2026
In the meantime, we have uploaded the photos from this year's gala and you can scroll through them here:
Time to Move
Join us for the Hero's Hustle on June 16th!
This is a 5k designed for everyone - bring the family, bring the strollers, walk, jog, or run. We'll have staggered start times so that everyone ends together.
This will be a blast! We'll share more as we get closer, but imagine fire trucks spraying water to cool off anyone who wants it, law enforcement swag and equipment to climb on for the littles.
Terra Loco does these 5ks every week in the summer and we are honored to be selected to partner with them on the 16th of June. Please save the date and consider coming out to support us!
Introducing our newest partner - the Winona Police Department.
We are proud to partner with the WPD!
It is an honor to begin supporting the Winona Police Department with Chaplain Osborne (back row - 3rd from left) already fully engaged.
Congratulations!
It is such a joy to walk alongside our first responders and to be invited into their lives.
We rejoiced this week to join in the celebration of the wedding of RPD Sgt Ben Schlag and Annette.
Thank you for making our chaplains a part of your special day!

Transitions
We are sad to see Deputy Fire Chief Holly Mulholland leave for Eagan, but we celebrate her promotion and wish her Godspeed.
“There is no possible way to sum up 17 years except to say thank you for serving this community with your whole heart.”
